 an battlefield\;\n\n 	\nUniversal housing\, childcare\, and trade school
 s as the foundation for a new social contract\;\n\n 	\nTechnological an
 d economic renewal that prepares Connecticut for the world of 2040.\n\n
 \nWe have the opportunity to set the tone for a new generation of leader
 ship in this state\, but we must take the opportunity offered by the col
 lapse of the Democratic Party in the 2024 election to take the leap away
  from that which no longer works (and has not worked\, if we are very ho
 nest\, for far too long).\nThis town hall is a space for serious\, hones
 t dialogue about how we build a New Commonwealth: a government of citize
 ns\, not clients\; a democracy that works for everyone\, not just the po
